Using handmade wood tools, I created a painting with primal markings resembling footsteps. This piece signifies the road that I did not take (implying that I took the road less traveled). This piece is in reference to the infamous poem by Robert Frost, which is the mission statement of my former educational institution. This is an homage to the end of one part of my life and the beginning of another, and it will be a constant reminder in my practice to continue expressing the extensions of my self.
