Web article - B2C for IndieCade Game Festival

On Oct 8-9, the IndieCade invasion will transform downtown Culver City to an open-aired arcade village, filling the streets with events, panels, workshops, and of course—games! Come see what the hoopla is about that the Los Angeles Times calls IndieCade the “Sundance” of indie games festivals.
The fun of IndieCade is that it’s interactive. Stroll along the GameWalk and be the first to play 36 new titles from up-and-coming developers. Learn how to mod board games, or jump onboard the experimental Big Games area to do some massive Piñata Pummeling damage! Talk to the developers of the newest and most out-there games, or just relax and enjoy the special discounts from local eateries and retail stores. There are tons of places, activities, workshops, and family-friendly engagement to explore at IndieCade. And when you’re finally done playing, cast your vote for Best Game in the Audience Choice Awards!

Registration for Expanded-Access Festival Wristbands is open through Brown Paper Tickets and http://www.indiecade.com. A Family Pack wristband for a family of four to all festival activities is $40 in advance and $50 at the door. Individual Festival wristbands are $12 in advance, $10 for students and $15 on-site for the weekend. All paid wristband and conference pass holders will receive Magic the Gathering starter/booster packs. In addition, all festival attendees are invited to attend the IndieCade Closing Party, Sunday, Oct. 9 between 5 – 7 pm at the IndieCade Village, where the Developer and Audience Choice Awards will be announced.
