DIGITIZING LIFE
This is a series of animation loops that tackle the accelerating rate of which technology has been integrating with our lives. The merging of the biological and the technological, privacy concerns, as well as time travel, are all themes playfully tackled and illustrated in these animations. The goal is not to demonize nor celebrate the accelerating rate of technological advancement, since as with everything, it can both be a "good" or a "bad" thing. These animations allow the space for introspection and a civilized conversation on the illustrated themes.
The animations are done in a style inspired by ancient Persian miniatures found in old manuscripts, tackling urgent and relevant topics. I have coined the term 'Modern Miniatures' to describe my work.
