The wood has been left raw and untouched, the bars are a cold metal, and the contrasting black and orange pay homage to the millions currently suffering at the hands of the U.S. prison system. Title Involuntary Servitude, the exhibit stands as a reminder that slavery is still very much alive and thriving in the form of prison labor. It lays out the hard truth while reminding us that real people are severely affected every day and at any moment it can be you. The exhibit is constructed from wood, pic pipes, metal and utilized vinyl lettering.
