As an Université Laval’s Alumni, Valéry was thrilled to be invited to participate in the exhibition organized by l'École de design de l'Université Laval in Québec city, centred around the theme of domestic violence.

Through her artwork, she aimed to shed light on the unseen effects of domestic violence on children, revealing the shadows that linger within their worlds. Using a dollhouse-inspired setting, Valéry invites viewers to explore the delicate balance between the joys of childhood and the distressing realities that can infiltrate their lives.
