PSYK//live generated motion graphics || Kinect Azure
A good while ago I was doing some visuals for Norwegian band - Highasakite and the idea for one of the songs was to film the lead vocalist with Kinect Azure depth cam., dress it up with some 3D glitches, so with that said I got to work tinkering with deformers, and what do you know - Displacement Map deformer is brilliant for that sort of stuff.
The 3D Glitch bit:
Displacement Map deformer is offset by -0.3 on the Displacement amount property
A. - Gradient set to Linear with 1 on the Inner Range (I just needed a white solid, so why not a generator? :) )
B. - Digital Block glitch conneceted to A. Gradient Node
C. - Motion Data mosh connected to A. Gradient Node
D. - Colour Map Deformer with the same Gradient as an input (flipped on Scale Y so it aligns to Displacement map)

There are some small little details happening in the background, smoke and connecting lines are built out with Fields and Particles, if you are new to both of those, go ahead and check the videos I've listed below, these are a good 101 explanations of what those systems are and how they work :)
This R&D was done using Notch motion graphics software, it is incorporating various workflows and tools that this software offers.
