When I started thinking on this project, firstly I made a Mind-Map and I wrote seven notions: elegance, clarity, power, authority, precision, silence, gravity. Theese notions stay in the closest relation with chess, with the atmosphere of this game, so I wanted to create a set which shows theese properties. The title also refers to the precision, clarity, gravity which are usually given by german brands. The pieces are made of steel, with the method of turning and pressing. Any one piece has a ceramic coating on those surfaces which are produced with pressing. This ceramic layer can be black or white arranging the pieces in teams.
