I was appointed to produce infographics from Malawi's 2021 census data. The brief was to use infographics to communicate vital information about the country's state by presenting census data clearly and simply. The visually rich presentation assisted in showcasing the possibilities and strengths of the census's digital data dissemination platform. Communicating countries' strengths and challenges through making statistics visible is a vital method for modernising national statistical systems and supporting socio-cultural development in Africa.
