I've wanted to create a piece of artwork celebrating the BMW 3 series F30 ever since I bought a 335i back in 2017. Better late than never, I guess...

This original piece was made 100% digitally with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, based on an original photo that I don't own and can't take credit for. I made it this piece aboslutely massive, clocking in at 7000px x 9375px at 300dpi - perfect for a poster or print.

Let's just be clear, this style of art isn't really in my wheelhouse. I was largely inspired by the amazing work of Signalnoise Studios (James White). I've been a fan of his style for the better part of a decade, and thought it might be a fun challenge to try and emulate his creative process. He's created several engaging videos talking through the process he takes when he creates his original art, and I was feeling inspired. 

I put on my synthwave playlist, opened up Adobe Creative Cloud, and just went for it. 

I think it turned out pretty rad.
