Edasi Labs had been an idea in the heads of the founders for some time, when they came to me in search of their visual identity. They bring together bright minds of the present and help shape the future through the use and development of technology and it gave me a pretty clear starting point — the identity will have to look fresh, bold and forward-looking, but also minimal to appeal to the target audience and carry the project to the heights.

Edasi means forward(s) in Estonian, so I was looking for a ways to combine the forward-motion with technology and came up with the idea of using ">" symbol, as it's both an arrow moving forward, but also a symbol used in coding, therefore linking it with technology. This became the basis of the identity, as it's not only part of the logo, but is also used as a graphic element for all kinds of applications. In addition to the symbol I found the Unbounded font, that fit the brand like glove with its conveniently shaped letter "E".
