Beast's Lair
He knew that as a monster living in his hiding place, he had chosen solitude not for himself but for the people around him. He was afflicted with the revelation of his living lair by a full moon illuminating the majestic sky on a clear night. It wasn't long before he saw the people coming to hunt him. He was beginning to feel like the days of protecting them from himself would be over. People have never understood this, that civilization does not make them superior, that being wild or not is not about development.
