The Improv Shop is a unique small business in the heart of Soulard. It’s the only place in St. Louis to see live improv, but the twist is you can become a performer yourself. The Improv Shop offers classes for aspiring entertainers. Students can advance and actually become performers on their own improv team.

I created these posters to promote their classes and performances. I had wonderful copy to work with provided by Bob Harris. I decided to emphasis these great lines with some fun typesetting and a centered, in-your-face placement. The posters use actual event photography (provided by Mark Halski) for genuine reactions and performance moments. The effect draws the viewer in and gives them an impression of a unique night at the Improv Shop.
