The main idea behind the project in England was reinterpreting traditional Japanese interiors and creating a modern, minimalist spa and gym.
The first task was to expand and combine several different zones, like water in a river does when it flows through different landscapes. So the spa area flows into the zen garden, the zen garden into the gym.
The second challenge is to manoeuvre between classic Japanese interiors and modern lifestyles. Tranquility and harmony are combined with cutting - edge technology. And light and natural materials bring it all together.
Third, the use of natural materials, which for all their minimalist appeal have a multitude of textures and textures.
