The Need For Speed
The night I watched Top Gun Maverick, I had this dream about riding in the backseat of an F-18 - the pilot pulled some crazy Gs and I ultimately decided to capture the unrestricted climb moment! 🛫 Even for personal work like this, research is required to draw details of elements such as the oxygen mask, flight suit, the interior of the plane, the angle of the wings from different perspectives...I delved into the world of aviation for the first time to draw this illustration, and I haven't stopped researching about that industry since! I'm interested in exploring the world of art in aviation, and how these two very different worlds can connect and meld.
