Иногда перед графическим дизайнером встает задача сделать дизайн, отсылающий к культуре другой страны. Наиболее простой выход — стилизовать типографику. Но что лежит в основе стилизации, как подобрать шрифт, похожий на другой язык, как вообще происходит стилизация? Цель этого исследования — ответить на эти и другие вопросы, пронаблюдав за применением стилизованных кириллических шрифтов в различных сферах.
Sometimes a graphic designer is faced with the task of making a design that refers to the culture of another country. The easiest way out is to style the typography. But what is the basis of styling, how to choose a font that looks like another scripts, how does styling work in general? The purpose of this visual research is to answer these and other questions by observing the use of stylized Cyrillic fonts in various fields.
