Heat 2: A Novel

I read Heat 2 recently and chose it as inspiration to explore a variety of AI tech including Midjourney, SwapID, and Photoshop Beta. I combined assets rendered from those tools with stock photos, found imagery, and still images from different films.
It was challenging combining such a wide variety of imagery from different mediums and eras while maintaining a sense of cohesion. I think some of the posters came out better than others but the point was to explore these new tools and have lots of fun with it! I especially loved how insane the Otis Wardell character in the book was and I couldn't think of anyone better than Javier Bardem to portray his crazy ass. It was nice spending time shaping his appearance in each poster.
