Jeff Staples x Puma Event

The latest PUMA x STAPLE collaboration takes inspiration from Gidra, a California newspaper founded in 1969 to be a powerful Asian-American voice during the American civil rights movement. Pieces from the collection combine Jeff Staple’s trademark clean, thoughtful aesthetic, with bold colours and graphics honouring Asian-American history. This take on the Slipstream follows the theme, with seamless colour contrasting, leather on the upper and vamp, and a gloss finish on the Formstrip.
The Jeff Staples x Puma collection celebrates Chinese culture, fashion and editorial design. Customers were welcomed into the flagship Archive store to take part in and awesome event. An opportunity to celebrate Chinese culture through streetwear at Archive.
Originally inspired by utility and traditional graphic design and craftsmanship, this 3D asset was the perfect foundation for marketing material at the event. The interactive nature of this very special event allowed customers to enter the store and receive a gift package containing food vouchers, branded goodies (which included instructions) and a fortune cookie that was used later in the evening to announce competition winners.
The video above showcases some panning in Blender 3D. To get a better feel for the scene.
Inside the gift package customers were supplied with a traditional Chinese editorial piece that could be folded into an origami pigeon. An instructional stop motion styled video was created using Blender 3D to assist people in taking part in our event.
This media was displayed across screens at the event. Here are some mockups to visualise that.
Thank you!
