Pingpong Scrunchies — Brand Development, Visual Identity, Art Direction, Photography, Management & Partnership — 2014
Founded and managed by two portuguese young designers, — and friends — Pingpong is a portuguese hair accessory brand that brings back the 80/90's scrunchies our mothers used to have. Every piece is original, handmade and created with patience and love. We merged out our design and creative skills to work on a corporate image that values the 80's scrunchie not just as a hair accessory, but as an important piece of your outfit — just like the pink purse a girl could choose for a night out. The challenge is to 'please' several tastes, styles and ages, providing materials more classic like velvet or suede, others more casual with patterned and floral fabrics. But also products more bold like gold or silver fabrics, perfect for an night out or a special occasion.
Pingpong has several partnerships, including Oi biquini, Thug Unicorn and CUSQ.
