Taylor-Dior Rumble is a writer, born and raised in South East London. She started her journalism career at BBC News at the age of 18 and has since gone on to produce and cover stories ranging from the politics of Black hair to colourism in Hollywood. Her first novel, The Situationship, was published by #Merky Books in summer of 2023.

For this title I was asked to create a minimal proof design that illustrated some of the key themes in the book and grabbed readers attention, I settled on using a red flag motif throughout the design and two main colours to create this striking cover which Taylor's audience loved, these are elements which were also used throughout the books campaign assets and were carried across to the books final cover.
