For my last university project, I focused on BBC Stargazing LIVE, a successful programme making astronomy interesting and accessible to the masses. As it is only televised for three nights in January, its impact fades during the year.
As astronomy is a wide-ranging subject, I chose to design and illustrate a book focusing on ‘The Solar System’ and ‘Stars & Constellations’ as these are two accessible topics that the audience can enjoy, whatever equipment or knowledge they have.
