These photos were taken at the Vicksburg Military Park in Vicksburg, Mississippi on 7/4/2023 between roughly 2:30 PM CST and 4:50 PM CST. A 1979 Canon A1 was used for this. An offbrand 200mm zoom was used at f4.5 because the aperture was stuck open, which is fine. The rest were taken with a Canon nFD 35mm f2 Prime Lens and a Canon nFD 20mm f2.8 prime lens. I used Kodak Portra 800 set to 800 ASA on the camera, and the shutter speeds were between 1/250th and 1/30th of a second throughout the whole roll. I also had a Canon 50mm f1.2 but didn't include any of those pictures as they came out WAY to overexposed to work with. It was my first time working with a lens that would do 1.2 for the aperture setting. Granted it was very hot and very sunny, I probably should have known better, but was testing the waters since it was new. Due to the overexposure of the 50mm lens shots as well as few of the 35mm shots, only 11 out of 36 made it into this project. Negatives were developed with the Cinestill C41 kit, and scanned in with a Plustek Opticfilm 8200i negative scanner. Dust and scratches were shop'd out as best as possible.
