This artwork depicts the state of transition that Kuwait is going through, particularly in terms of transportation. Here, we see a juxtaposition of a variety of transportation methods that are laid out in a timeline overlap; from camels to electric cars, and from magic carpets to metros.
This work also proposes the atmosphere in the metro; an inclusive luxury experience where people from all walks of life can co-exist together, and in such, it may be one of many opportunities to reduce friction and racism in Kuwait.
New technologies can be seen hand in hand with ancient methods and modes of operation; a medieval character brought back to life with robotic body parts, while self-driving cars are being driven right next to gasoline operated ones –as well as camels!- in this transformational time.
