ENTROPIA é um trabalho de arte generativa que representa a corrupção de algo perfeito. A peça começa com a geração aleatória de circunferências num espaço 2D. A um certo momento no tempo, uma mancha começa a alastrar-se do epicentro das circunferências. Esta mancha tem um comportamento aleatório e inicialmente é da mesma cor que as circunferências. Ao alastrar-se, a mancha torna-se negra, bem como as circunferências, dando a sensação que a composição se decompõe, e morre. Esta “morte” não é total, pois sobram alguns pontos que continuam a alastrar-se. Esta é uma peça que funciona conforme os princípios da entropia, segundo a qual a organização de um sistema tenderá sempre para o caos.

ENTROPY is a generative artwork that represents the corruption of something perfect. The piece begins with the random generation of circles in a 2D space. At a certain point in time, a stain begins to spread from the epicenter of the circles. This spot behaves randomly and is initially the same color as the circles. As it spreads, the spot turns black, as do the circles, giving the impression that the composition is decomposing and dying. This "death" is not total, as there are a few spots left that continue to spread. This is a piece that works according to the principles of entropy, according to which the organization of a system will always tend towards chaos.
