Spurn Point is renowned for being a dessolate Peninsula, that
has gradually parted ways with its surrounding villages over
the years. What once was a thriving community during the
First and Second World Wars, has now become a nature
reserve for bird watchers to travel down the distressed three
mile Peninsula.
 Therefore taking notice of the current users today and
considering what once was in the past, this project seeks to
establish to creating a lost community by combining the past
and present elements together. With the intention of designing
an Estuary Lodge for Bird Watchers and tourists to visit and stay.

Visual intentions on how Spurn Point could create its lost community
Precedent Studies annotated on how existing Estuary Lodge's and Bird Centre's have taken their approach on design.
Masterplan concept ideas
Researching the possible flood resistant techniques used and finding out which technique would be best used for the site.
Conceptural flooding models.
