Concept, design, layout, and illustration of album artwork for the Misty Mountain String Band's first full-lentgh album, Brownsboro. Hand-drawn completely in India ink, watercolor, and acrylic, and assembled in Photoshop.
The concept for this album artwork was taken from MMSB's own sound and songwriting, evoking memories of listening to bluegrass radio on the back porch as a kid, staring up at the Appalachian night sky. The constellations across 3-panel sky scene are all inspired by MMSB's songs.
