Identity Assets Authentication Corp

Freelance project that revolves around a new cyber security platform and membership: Identity Assets Authentication Corp. Art Direction was my primary role on this website.
Different approaches were taken for banners in the hero as well as the content of the pages. The customer did not provide much content text, as such the imagery was tasked with a heavy-duty job: It needs to pull the owner in and evoke emotion.
Since the topic was cyber security, some decorative, expressive typography was used for headlines to give the essence of investigation and forensics. The color blue inside the headlines was lifted from the customer-provided logo that was not part of the redesign efforts. As a general rule, if your headlines are very expressive, then the body/supporting text needs to be neutral. This keeps things from looking tasteful, not chaotic.  Also note the texture used to give it more of a paper feel.
Color palette is made up of cool and rational colors with strong, but harmonious contrast. The off-white used as the primary color for the majority of the site (often with a paper texture) was made to calm the text in contrast to the strong imagery.
If the case of multiple small images or grids, the solution was using gray scale imagery to cut down on distractions.
