it's all so familiar, but it never happened

i trained the neural network on photos of russia, including my own. i showed it panel buildings, dirty and small shuttle buses, norilsk, wooden barracks, gold-plated teeth, snow-covered porches and carpets in front of khrushchev houses. after that, i generated new photos that were so familiar and non-existent at the same time.
the result is an averaged and artistic image of the country that looks almost more real than reality itself. i've never been here and don't know anything about these places, but — in fact — it's the same here as anywhere else, only more acutely felt.
