Having had the opportunity during my first degree, Journalism, to design design magazines from A to Z, my passion for design started to grow. In my second year of Graphic and Digital Media, after eighteen months, I was allowed to venture into it again. The assignment was simple: make a magazine about a graphic designer.
My choice fell on Paula Scher. This American is called one of the most most influential graphic designers in the world. Her style is a cross between pop art and fine art. The layout of my magaine 'DesignWise' involved thorough research including analysis. Pink is a colour I don't readily use in my designs. But because Paula Scher's books have light pink pages, I chose to carry this line through to my own design.
