Depression
Depression is a medical condition that affects how you think and behave, and the way you feel and function. It is one of the most common mental health problems and is faced by over 121 million people worldwide. In Singapore, an estimated 5.6% of the population are affected by depression during their lifetime.
Being diagnosed with depression is something hard for one to accept. Fighting depression is a tough battle and cannot be done alone. Having to fight all the negativity that constantly forms in the mind with its varying degrees of effects. Some of the symptoms caused by depression are - feelings of restlessness, lacking in energy, persistant sadness, loss of interest in daily activity, substance abuse, suicide thoughts, despair in daily life.
This project aims to show the major impact of depression in one’s life if it is left untreated.

It is important to take notice of the people around us who show signs of depression and be there for them. Encourage them and to spread positivity in their life. Your encouragement will make a difference to somebody's life.
