Copy of YachtCruiseSG Illustrations (2022)

Series of 4 illustrations created for YachtCruiseSG to be printed as NETS Flashpay card designs for marketing. The cards had to depict their cruises to Kusu Island, Lazarus Island, St. John's Island, and Marina Bay. The compositions of the cards were to flow into each others across the different times of day - morning, afternoon, sunset and night.

Concept
The land and sea positions were connected across all illustrations. Each illustration was to depict the yacht as well as a crew member. The yacht was drawn across the 2 cards of Kusu and Lazarus Islands.
We identified specific landmarks and tour features to be depicted in each illustration.

1. Kusu Island - Southern Islands Guided Tour
In the foreground are the island's double tortoise statues. Instead of being on land, these were drawn in the sea to appear like live tortoises. Behind that was the island's red Chinese temple, and the yellow keramat on top of a hill.

2. Lazarus Island - Fun & Easy Cruise
We depicted Lazarus' famous beach Eagle Bay. Sea eagles were drawn flying in keeping with the name. YachtCruiseSG's water activities were shown - unicorn float, kayaking, and yellow mat.

3. St. John's Island - Sunset BBQ Dinner Cruise
Two people were shown enjoying bentos and BBQ on the cruise with St. John's Island in the background as the sun sets, complete with its grey embankment. Photos of the cruise and islands were heavily referenced for all illustrations. The yacht crew uses the same type of BBQ stove as that of the actual ship. Vegetable skewers were used because they are more colourful, increasing the visual appeal.

4. Marina Bay - Sunset City Skyline Cruise
A family was shown attending a guided tour by the yacht crew along the Marina Bay skyline. Various landmarks were shown in the composition - Gardens By The Bay's Supertrees, Cloud Forest and Flower Dome, Marina Bay Sands, the ArtScience Museum and Singapore Flyer. The tall buildings from Singapore's central business district were in the background.
