The Atlantic is a destination vacation spot for surfers, which is located on the beach in Long Branch, NJ. This surf club provides social gathering spaces, dining and overnight lodging.
The Atlantic is a destination vacation spot for surfers, which is located on the beach in Long Branch, NJ. This surf club provides social gathering spaces, dining and overnight lodging.
The lodging options range from economical dormitory style rooms, to mid-range hotel rooms, to deluxe hotel suites. The program was developed with social interaction in mind, providing guests and day trippers who share common interests with indoor and outdoor lounge spaces, game/entertainment facilities, a restaurant, a bar/social club, a rooftop pool and a surf shop.
By being located directly on the beach surfers can always be in tuned with the changing surf conditions and seize the opportunity to catch a good ride.
Concept:
Waves form a new kind of spatial experience. Surfers adapt to the force and shape of waves.
