The Valiant Bull is a restaurant designed to serve the manly man and hearty woman their favorite meaty dishes served in the highest quality. It's designed to be fun and welcoming, while emphasizing an importance on high quality meats and dishes.
The design of the restaurant's logo is emphasizing the medieval theme of the restaurant, as well as the style of food you will be served during your experience. The cow is symbolic of the dishes, as many different beef and steak dishes would be served to the customers. The dragon symbolism represents more of the medieval themes used in the architecture and style of the restaurant, itself.
The ambiance and architectural design are meant to be representative of ancient times, where life was simpler, albeit more dangerous. But in those moments between hard work in the fields or on the trail, people were able to sit down and have a hearty, tasty meal meant to rejuvenate and appeal. That's much of what I am trying to capture in my own restaurant design. The Valiant Bull is supposed to capture that relaxing feeling of rest from a long day, while providing you with high quality dishes at an affordable price.
As stated before, the target market for my restaurant is people who enjoy a hearty, meat-forward meal, looking for a relaxing, medieval ambiance and affordable prices. We don't want to charge an exorbitant amount for a good dish, and we want people to be able to feel comfortable and at home while they dine with friends and family or even dine alone. We want to encourage people to come in casual clothing, bring a casual attitude, and enjoy an easy-going night with a big plate of barbecue and tasty sides.
Younger adults and families are the target demographic, as they will likely be the hardest working groups who need a decent place to spend their hard-earned money on some tasty food, and will likely not want to spend much more than what we charge. I think they will greatly enjoy the food and atmosphere, and make visits a regular occurrence, or even just a special event destination.
