Global Epicenter of Mobility (GEM) Leave-Behind

I was pleased to work with the Detroit Regional Partnership to create an informative leave-behind for the Global Epicenter of Mobility (GEM) program.

The design brief was to develop a succinct and scannable info sheet that could be handed out or emailed to policy-makers, corporate partners, mobility experts and innovators, and the DRP/GEM audience.

The GEM identity and the larger DRP brand functioned as the leave-behind's aesthetic foundation. From these sources I pulled color, type, and graphic elements such as the angled "gem facets" that frame and accent the content. I also created some small icons to supplement headings and copy.

The Detroit Regional Partnership is an economic development nonprofit dedicated to promoting the 11-county region of southeast Michigan.

Led by the Detroit Regional Partnership, the Global Epicenter of Mobility – or GEM – is designed to help build an inclusive and prosperous 21st century mobility sector.
