Context: More and more municipalities are installing "stop-skate" devices on their street furniture to limit the practice of skateboarding. 

Challenge: How can Vans of the Wall help its community reclaim these spots?

Idea: What if Vans of the wall created the first tricks-contest on stop-skate devices. And because everyone should be able to participate, Vans created the first adjustable bar designed to overcome these devices.

Mechanics: To promote this product, Vans of the Wall launched "Back in the street" with its team of professional skaters. A tour of France consisting of different stages in spots closed by municipalities with the stop-skate devices.  At each stop, locals are invited to skate with the team for a session to reopen the spot.
