These works are from a series of zinc plate etchings. I created a series of works based on Mughal style mini portraiture, using Desi and Australian images to create a fusion, or hybrid work representing the culture of the subjects as well as my own. Using Australian native botanicals and classic Mughal side profile portraits, adorning the subjects in cultural garb and jewellery.
