These are a collection of renders of smaller projects that I am currently working on or have recently worked on. Most are low rez work where the fine details will either be textured or normal mapped. The first is a rendering of the Bellagio in Las Vegas. I used Maya and was working to keep it under 5000 polys, it is currently at just over 4000. The second set is the kitchen from the Venture Brothers. The kitchen is currently still in progress as I am currently adding the smaller appliances and fine details.
I had always wanted to model the Bellagio but never found the time or the opportunity. A speed modeling challenge came up for a low poly model and I decided that this would be a great opportunity to give it a go. I will most likely be doing a higher rez version with more of the details in the near future.
The classic Venture Kitchen, this work is still very much in progress and new renders with more pieces will be put up as they are completed. The kitchen is very retro in style which was fun to look up the retro styles. These 2 renders are the first 2 in a series of Venture Bros. related models I am working on.
