Surf City Poster

I was assigned to draw a poster about a place near me. I chose Surf City. Surf City is known for surfing, its small hometown feel, and its great beaches. I used pictures that I had taken as inspiration for this poster. 

Here are a few rough drafts and ideas I came up with along the way. 

After drafting ideas, I then picked out my four most successful posters. 

After drafting my four most successful posters I was able to narrow it down to the one. I found the final poster to be true to the city. There are great beaches that are perfect for surfing. 

The final poster I used a mixture of graphite pencils, paint, marker, and pens.
