There are approximately 750 companies in the fuel and lubricants marketing & distrbution business in the State of California. These companies are supplied by over 60 large wholesalers and major oil companies in the US and offshore markets. These companies supply and deliver products to over 14,500 gas stations and directly to over 12,000 commercial & industrial companies with locations located throughout the State. Since 1991, I have engaged with hundreds of stakeholders throughout the State of California to negotiate supply agreements, purchase agreements, and various supply chain performance improvement initiatives.
All stakeholder economics and financial incentives are modeled using PVS enabled "War Rooms" for strategic & tactical mission planning efforts. The US petroleum supply chain has been modeled for every State in the US and for select markets globally; this clip shows the stakeholders included in the PVS model of the State of California.
