CREATIVE COWORKING HUB
The project involves the conversion of a former industrial warehouse located in the central part of Bucharest, Romania into a creative coworking hub, in order to reintegrate it back into the circuit of urban life and reactivate the local creative community.
POP-UP SHOP
Eudemonia is a concept stemming from ancient greek which, in Aristotel’s philosophy, represents the highest form of well being a human can achieve - a state of excellence. The Eudemonia Machine is a building prototype, a space where users can access a state of deep human prosperity – creating work at the absolute limit of their personal possibilities. The machine is a linear series of 5 rooms that takes the user through increasingly deeper levels of contemplation, culminating in deep work.
This project, by transforming a former industrial warehouse to accomodate a multifunctional creative space, is sustainable in and of itself by ensuring the 3 fundamental pillars or urban regeneration. It involves a transformed space, community, and economic activity. Thus, this space will ultimately help strengthen the sense of belonging and community locally by creating an exhibition platform for the talented creators it hosts, as well as giving the people what they need to thrive - eachother.
