[PT] A Escola de Engenharia da UFRGS é uma das instituições de ensino mais antigas de Porto Alegre. Fundada em 1986, desenvolve profissionais de 13 áreas diferentes da engenharia. A Escola tem, como seu ideal, formar, qualificar, estabelecer uma cultura de excelência para seus alunos e servidores, e gerar novos conhecimentos a partir da pesquisa, nas áreas da engenharia, para o desenvolvimento da sociedade.
[EN] The UFRGS School of Engineering is one of the oldest teaching institutions in the city of Porto Alegre. Founded in 1986, it develops professionals from 13 different areas of engineering. The School has, as its ideal, the training and qualification of its graduates, the establishment of a culture of excellence for its students and employees, and the generation of fresh knowledge from research in the areas of engineering for the development of society.
