2022 Magnet Design for the Student Events Team at Minnesota State University, Mankato
This magnet was designed to display the Student Events Team calendar for the fall 2022 semester at Minnesota State University, Mankato. The Student Events Team is a student-led organization that produces fun, interactive, and educational events for students.
The goal of this magnet design was to get students interested and involved in the activities happening around campus.
While sticking to the university's branding guidelines, I used color, shape, and emojis to highlight and make individual events stand out while limiting the use of text. The objective was to garner the interest of students with the emojis and event names so they would scan the QR code to get more information on the events. The finished product was a 4x7" magnet which was placed in each of the dorms and common areas in student housing on campus.
