Located in a prime business location within Ningbo's urban renewal masterplan, the design takes advantage of its location and creates a retail / commercial hub linking the old and new town by means of connecting amorphous public green space on different levels.
The program includes a 15k meter square high end retail hub for the new town, four residential apartment towers and two grade A landmark office towers dominating, while completing the existing skyline. The retail center is kept to 3.5 storeys tall, slowly rising from the its boutique main street front towards the landmark towers, maximizing the visual openess around the site. Its facades are highly articulated to create a vibrant urban character. Vegetated urban park surrounds the site and is extended onto the roof tops of the retail center, bringing much needed vitality and comfort to all leisure / shopping / working experience.
