In December 2022, I went on a short trip with my Product Designing classmates to Kutch, Gujarat, to learn about the rich culture and craftsmanship there. In fact, I worked with Anchal Bijlani (Handmade Leather Handbags Specialist), who agreed to assist me in making the attached Laptop sleeve without any use of machines.
The laptop sleeve is made from chevron patterned ajrakh fabric and plane leather. Each stitch is done by hand, capturing the authenticity of the traditional technique. The design's modernization makes it suitable for official purposes as well.
