Il progetto head-less nasce da una riflessione: non usiamo più la testa, non riflettiamo, non cerchiamo di comprendere, ci siamo assuefatti a tutto ciò che avviene attorno a noi, compiamo scelte in virtù di una supposta libertà.
Ho cominciato a lavorare a questo progetto nell'estate del 2004, nel periodo in cui le decapitazioni in Iraq erano all'ordine del giorno. Ho poi realizzato circa 65 scatti, tutti in bianco e nero; una serie di disegni e un video.

Purtroppo gli spunti per nuove immagini sono sempre presenti, giorno dopo giorno, e il progetto può essere costantemente aggiornato.

The head-less project was the result of a reflection: we no longer use our heads, we do not reflect, we do not try to understand, we have become addicted to everything that happens around us, we make choices by virtue of a supposed freedom.
I started working on this project in the summer of 2004, at a time when beheadings in Iraq were the order of the day. I then took about 65 shots, all in black and white; a series of drawings and a video.

Unfortunately, the inspiration for new images is always there, day after day, and the project can be constantly updated.
