Tembusu Studio’s interior design philosophy is best described as contemporary with the favoured usage of wood, organic materials and bespoke millwork to create modern inviting spaces.

The project brief was to not only reflect their design philosophy, but also appeal to their target demographic of hoteliers and restaurateurs with discerning taste who were interested in well-designed spaces.

In addition to their brand identity and associated corporate stationery, I also designed their portfolio book.
Secondary branding pattern and logo (bottom right)
I drew directly from Tembusu Studio’s love of wood to craft a clean, simple logo (above) that was representative of the studio’s modern design philosophy. I took inspiration from the drafting plans and blueprints used by interior designers to develop a pattern as a secondary graphic.

The logotype and headers were set in a humanist font Barmeno to give it a modern but personal look. Copy is set in Gotham Light to provide contrast between the headers and text.
Namecards and portfolio book. Gold foilblocking across the front of both was used to give a touch of elegance.
Customised mailing tubes and greeting cards
Envelope stickers, front & back
Drafting plans and letterhead
The namecards and book have a gold hotstamp across the front.
The inner cover of the portfolio book has a sleeve to house namecards in.
