CBD Chocolate is a local artisan chocolate brand. Each chocolate bar is handcrafted and made using only organic ingredients, pure CBD and local fruit. The client values quality in their products as well as unprocessed ingredients. 

The packaging needed to convey the premium aspects of the brand while also visually giving the customer a taste of each flavor. The various fruits infused into the CBD and chocolate malt makes this brand stand apart from its competition. It was important to highlight the flavor on the wrapper as this is a key selling point to the brand.  

The new look and feel ensures that on shelf the chocolates immediately captured the customer’s attention, while still communicating its bespoke nature. As CBD Chocolate is respected brand in the industry the design also needed to be original, hand-crafted and enhance the flavors in the line. 

I illustrated clean line work drawings of fruit: cherry, banana and blueberries. The style of the artwork was drawn in a wood block carving style to add a timeless and original feel. The vibrant color palette adds energy and makes you crave a sample. Adding a pattern design to the packaging enforces the flavor variety in the packaging and establishes brand awareness. The color blocking and repetition gives a uniform feel across the range, making it a cohesive series of high-end chocolates.  

The response to the new look and feel has been overwhelmingly positive.
