O UFRGSMUN é um projeto de extensão ligado da ao curso de Relações Internacionais da UFRGS. Baseado no Model United Nations para debates, é um dos primeiros e mais renomados MUNs do Brasil. Todo ano, os alunos se encontram em Porto Alegre para discutir os assuntos mais relevantes da atualidade. O evento promove não somente a discussão como a integração das ideias de participantes de todo o Brasil. A primeira edição ocorreu em 2003, 2022 será sua décima nona edição.

UFRGSMUN is an extension program tied to the International Relation undergraduation course at UFRGS. Based on the Model United Nations for debates, it is one of the first and most renowned MUNs in Brazil. Every year, students meet in the city of Porto Alegre to discuss the most relevant current topics. The event promotes not only the discussion, but also the integration the ideas of participants from all over Brazil. The first edition took place in 2003, 2022 will be its nineteenth edition.

A nova identidade é um redesign da edição de 2016, criada pela designer e então graduanda em RI Joana Oliveira. A paleta consiste em duas cores principais. O azul, cor principal da ONU, transmite a formalidade de um MUN. O laranja remete à jovialidade de seus participantes e tem um significado de renascimento e transformação pois 2022 será a primeira edição do evento após a pandemia em 2020.

The new identity is a redesign of the 2016 edition, created by designer and then IR undergraduation student Joana Oliveira. The color palette is made by two main colors. Blue, United Nation's main color, transmits the formality of a MUN. Orange refers to the youth of its participants and has a meaning of transformation and regeneration since 2022 will be the first edition after the 2020 pandemic.
