The design concept for Alejandro's is inspired by the owner’s travels to Tulum and connection to his Mexican heritage. Our design goal was to deliver a space that evokes all of your senses. As if you stumbled upon a boutique hotel off the beaches of Tulum, the restaurant and bar has copious amounts of plants, breeze blocks, moody lighting and moments of glam. The built-in caves in the main dining area represent Mexico’s sacred cenotes. Renovating the already existing restaurant, the bar was relocated, new fixtures and design elements were added throughout, and electrical and plumbing were updated as needed.
