Black Dog Custom Pet Portraits

In early 2014 I started doing custom Pet Portraits as an income stream other than my illustration and design work for Moulin Diesel. I opened a second Etsy shoppe called Black Dog Custom Pet Portraits, and worked up some promotional materials to help generate business.
I designed this little mascot to help launch my portrait endeavor. I wanted a cute little guy that had the "English Pub" vibe I was going for and was friendly. I wanted people to smile when they saw him and want to investigate what he represented. My reference photo was from a French Bulldog named Quincy, so I guess this little guy's name should be Quincy too!

I wrote a blog post about how I made Quincy HERE.
Banner for the front page of the Etsy shoppe.
Promotional postcard/flyer to hand out. 4.25" x 6" printed on glossy cardstock. The design here had to be eye-catching, and I also needed a few samples to show people what I could do. Both the front and back then serve as a mini-portfolio. I wanted people to see this and want something like that of their pet for themselves.
This is the cover of the PDF that clients get when they hire me for the portrait service. It's about 13 pages long and tells them how to get it going, what they will receive, and the terms and conditions of the project.
This is the cover of a supplemental PDF for clients that want a single portrait of TWO of their pets. Interestingly, the second dog behind Quincy was my first stab at the mascot design. I thought he turned out well, but wasn't "cute" enough. Quincy was actually the third design.
This is a graphic created for the Etsy shop's listings to illustrate all the deliverables a potential buyer/client would receive should they use my services. The layout and shape building was done in Illustrator, and all the postwork and special effects were done in Photoshop.
