La Muralla Roja is a postmodern apartment complex designed by Spanish architect Ricardo Bofill in Calpe, Spain. This building, whose name means red wall, was shown among the "10 Most Iconic Works of Ricardo Bofill". The red tones used on the exterior emphasize the contrast of the building with the surrounding landscape. Stairs and other circulation areas are painted in shades of blue. With many shades of blue, it was aimed to combine these areas with the sky and create a visual integrity. The geometric layout of the building is also close to the constructivist movement. Below you can find references photos of illustrations inspired by this building.
